Miss Rodeo Othello 2020
Brianna Kin Kade
&
Bro
Brianna Kin Kade is the 18 year old daughter of Melanie and Zane Ziebell, and the late Michael Kin Kade. Born in La Grande, OR her family has called Adams County home since she was 1 year old.
Brianna's love of all things horse began at age 3 when she was given a 30 year old thoroughbred to ride by herself. Since then her love has grown into a passion of riding, learning and teaching the western way of life.
4-H and FFA helped her to develop a strong foundation in our agricultural community. As she attended high school her activities included cheerleading, basketball, track, drama and Ritzville Rodeo Youth Drill team. Also, she was a member of the Washington High School Equestrian Team where she competed in drill team, working pairs, reigning, dressage, and multiple gaming events.
In the spring of her junior year she started working with a 2 year old AQHA registered gelding, that she affectionately calls Bro. After seeing the connection between Brianna and Bro his owner offered for Brianna to purchase him. Since then she has worked endlessly to improve not only her horse’s skills, but her own knowledge and experiences through his training. She has performed in drill, reigning, gaming, and cattle events with him. She has also used him on the ranch doing a multitude of jobs including sorting, roping, and general ranch work.
She is currently working at Iron Legacy Ranch where she is teaching riding lessons, working cattle, and gaining experience in the ranching industry. She is also working on her Bachelor's degree in psychology through Liberty University with a focus on military reintegration. Her dream is to eventually own her own riding facility that focuses on helping returning military veterans with PTSD to reintegrate back into civilian life.
Being named Miss Rodeo Othello 2020 is an honor and blessing for Brianna. She is excited to be traveling all over representing such an amazing association and community, as well as being able to promote the western way of life.
